This monday, 2nd of May 2011, the Icelandic radio show on the Icelandic national broadcasting service, Ópus, plays recordings from a concert held at the exhibition Sound Field at the National Gallery in Iceland, last 2nd of April, 2011.
The concert was tributed to the instrument of Halldór Úlfarsson, called Halldorophone, where he commissioned pieces by composers for his instrument, combined with another one.
Áki Ásgeirsson combined the Halldorophone with Thranophone #2: Requiem [owned and played by Ingi Garðar Erlendsson].
Halldorophone player of the concert is Sandra Ósk Snæbjörnsdóttir.
